Got woke up this morning about 3am... Heard a weird noise, didn't know wtf it was. Anyway, I get down stairs and my computer is off. Try to turn it on, flipped the I/O switch on the psu, etc... to no avail. So, as of right now, my computer is dead. It wont come on at all, so I'm assuming the power supply burnt out or something, which really sucks because it was not a cheap psu. I'm trying to find someone around here with a generic one or something so I can at least test in my pc to see if it'll post or anything. I'm praying that it's only the psu and it didn't take anything else out with it. If my mobo, cpu, ram, etc.. or anything else is gone too, I'm all but fucked...

Do you have a multimeter handy?

Also, if your PSU works at all, I would assume the motherboard would show SOME kind of light or something somewhere when it's powered...regardless of whether it boots or not. In most cases anyway...

Re: May be gone for a while...
Well, I got a temporary 460watt cooler master psu for the time being until I get my 620 Liberty fixed/replaced. I gotta send it in to Enermax. I'm just so happy and relieved none of my computer's parts were hurt when the psu killed over...

Yeah, nothing is more scary than finally getting a computer back up and running for the first time after replacing a failed PSU...
