Well, I really want to dual boot my computer to XP mainly so I can play Crysis on XP and see what kind of performance difference there is. Has anyone dualbooted Vista/Xp with Vista installed first? I have a guide that i'm currently reading but if anyone has any tips that would be much appreciated!
If I dual boot, will I be able to play Crysis without installing it on the other partition? Ex. Its on the C drive, but XP is the E drive, will I be able to launch it from the C Drive?

XP will overide Vista's boot option, however there is a program (which sadly i cannot remember) Will allow you to repair the Vista boot up to get dual booting working properly.
As for Crysis thing i have no idea, but without the registry inputs on the new OS install i doubt it will work, if it does SP only.

The program is EasyBCD which will fix Vista boot up. Oh well about the Crysis thing, but not to bad. Has anyone tried it and gotten performance results? Going to XP that has will have the least amount of services possible (probably about 20 vs 64 on vista).

The program I use to fix the boot loader is VistaBootPro (works great for when you uninstall Vista ;) ;) ;)). As for performance difference, it was the only game that seemed to run better on Vista 64 for me... the single player Beta.
