    After uploading my avatar, I got this...

    ... in red type on a pink background on an otherwise normal page (G3D theme, sponsored links in margins etc). As you can see the upload worked and now the world can see Leo.

    did you upload this via the forums user settings or the front page?

    Ahh ok, their is still some issues with the front page user setting, trying to track that down.

    The proper way to upload your avatar is to go to "quick links" at the top of the forums and then click on account settings. You should see where to upload your avatar.
