I just added SLI to my computer(hit specs for system details). When I boot my PC, I get a PCI to PCI Bridge driver not installed. Nothing I try(new chipset drivers, new video drivers, letting Windows install the driver on it's own) fixes this. My SLI is useless, and causes all sorts of graphic glitches(looks like a bad '70's acid trip in 3d apps, desktop is OK). If I disable my SLI, my fps drop badly(down from 55-60 in Hellgate:London to around 20) but my glitches clear up.
Any ideas?

Re: SLI issues...
SLI bridge is installed. The 680i-SLI chipset doesn't have the little card thingy(I know what you are talking about, my nForce4 SLI mobo had one), PLENTY of air flow
. PSU is an 1100w.

Re: SLI issues...
Thanx man
. 64-bit Vista Ultimate and a new 24" monitor are the last things on my list for a while(wife will be happy to hear that).

Re: SLI issues...
Both cards working fine individually(EQ2ing on the 2nd card as I type). I was playing around with various drivers(installing and uninstalling) and after a while I noticed the Device Manager and my Control Panel stopped listing that I had 2 cards installed. I had made no hardware changes at this point, just swapping drivers.

Bad driver download (corrupted files)

Kinda sounds like that to me.Q: What do you think about most during the day?

Re: SLI issues...
Like I said, I tried about 4 different drivers, they couldn't all be bad...could they? Got them from www.guru3d.com, always been a good site to me.

Re: SLI issues...
Well, I redownloaded 169.04, 169.01 and 163.75 and the same thing. After all the tests I've done, I am going to chalk this one up as either an OS issue or a mobo issue. I am doingthe new OS this here soon(Vista 64-bit) and then I will know if it's a mobo issue or not. I'd do a reformat now and not have to wait, but I really hate installing OS'es if I really don't have to.
Any other ideas are still welcome(I put my 2nd card away, but if it's a good idea, I will gladly break it out again
).

Are you cleaning out the previous drivers?
