I'm making a website for a company, and I'm going to use Joomla. I already had the design made and now i need to implement joomla's structure.
What I dont get is:
To load these modules, does it have to be a php file like the footer? or is it something you do in the template configuration on the website?<!-- 1 --><?php echo $mosConfig_sitename;?>
<!-- 2 --><?php mospathway()?>
<!-- 3 --><?php mosLoadModules('top');?>
<!-- 4 --><?php mosLoadModules('left');?>
<!-- 5 --><?php mosMainBody();?>
<!-- 6 --><?php mosLoadModules('right');?>
<!-- 7 --><?php include_once( $mosConfig_absolute_path .'/includes/footer.php' );?>

Re: Joomla! help
bleh Jumla
Sorry don't know enough of that one to help you out.
Tried it at one time, but did not like the complexity of it.Q: What do you think about most during the day?
A: Women. They are a complete mystery.

Re: Joomla! help
I'm not really sure either, I've never even tried to theme Joomla. I prefer Drupal for CMS stuff. I thought about using it for my own site, but I prefer hand coded, hand operated for my own website
The real hell is your life gone wrong.

Re: Joomla! help
Thats what I prefer to but this company wants a professional one. I gave up on Joomla since its not user friendly on the back end. Gonna switch to Drupal after your post and my brother telling me its great.

Re: Joomla! help
It's what we use for our front page. Takes a little to get acquainted with it's settings, but is a hell of allot easier than using Jumla and gives you allot more freedom!
