Any DOD fans here?

I just started playing again recently, and I'm loving it. Found a good server which keeps pretty detailed stats and rankings, so that adds more to my experience. Any of you playing too?

I like DOD. If I was going to play though I would pick DODS.

I got a trial from a friend who bought DODS. Was really fun while it lasted. Might buy it sometime since I already have it installed and it's just taking up space now.

Yeah same issue here, i have WAY too many games to play, and way too many games coming :/

I meant DOD:S I guess. Anyway check it out. There are a lot of games true, and the reason I'm playing DOD is because its actually fun, where as the "lot" are not fun . There are a few games which stay in rotation, and others come and go for me. Then again if you don't want to ruin your Crysis MP, or Halo3 MP, then you probably shouldn't play DOD because your standards will be set to high and those other games you liked before will seem like crap ;).

DoDS is fun in short bursts, but if I play it too much I find myself getting very bored with it. Still a nice game to have around for a play every now and then, though... it's just not something I can play every day.

Yeah definately, DoD:S sat installed on my PC after I bought HL2 silver (and when it finally came out) but I never used it until a while after that. Good solid fun I think but for some reason I just didn't find the urge to jump in and play it very often like I do for other games :(.

I started playing a lot with a friend, which is lots of fun. Especially when you have them on the phone and you can communicate.

Ah yep definately. Games are a million times more fun when you play with friends especially when you are on the phone/xfire/teamspeak or something and you can plan your strats

Or just goof around.

VOIP > Text chat by a long shot. Text chat is so outdated these days, and having to stop to type really leaves you open to attack.

when I type stuff in DOD its usually trash talking the other team ... or telling my team where some guy is that just killed me.
