Talk about it here, its supposed to be release to pre orders (today) i guess if someone has it maybe somehow give G3D a link so we can all start playing. Review it, talk about and discuss your longing for the game here.

I can't wait, as soon as it hits i'm going to do a performance review on it with the 8800GTX + SLI with image comparisons between DirectX 9+10, with single core, dual core, quad core benchmarks to see how crysis scales on multithreading.

That will be done by Saturday, hopefully Cyko will be free around then to do his editing mastery.

well latest news, sorry i know its a little bit late but i was out with my gf all night. Crysis demo fails. The demo crashes, because of this no screenshots have been revealed.

Latest news! there is a new countdown at crysisdemo.com and this one seems correct as it states it is tuned in with EA. And an update of why the demo fails. the demo fails because the preorder was only a preLOADER, meaning to have it loaded onto the computer at the time of release.

Crysis Singleplayer Demo


The demo is going to be released officially on Friday, October 26th at 1:00PM (GMT+1). It will be exclusively available for those who pre-ordered Crysis for about 24hours via the EA downloader. On Saturday, October 27th at 1:00PM the demo will be put online for download an all public sites, so keep tracking your favourite fan site.

Some more, and my last for a little while. First i'm gunna play through the demo, then it's benchmarking time. Hopefully Cyko will be available on the weekend as i intend to grind these benchmarks out ASAP, so that i will have the performance review finished by tommorow.

The tree shooting in this game is pretty awesome, shoot a tree it brakes where you shot at, then you can blow further parts off untill pretty much nothing remains

It is a bunch of BS, with the link I posted it does not require a key or anything. One thing I noticed after I finished installing no shortcut was made so search for it.

my opinions on the demo are - The game starts off great, runs nice on my pentium 4 at the moment, actually it runs perfect (on low/med no AA, even with 8x AA just a 5-10 drop in fps) the feel of the game is what matters to me more. I love how in far cry a bullet hole appears on the body of the victims, not happening here on Crysis, and also you'd think there would be a nice ragdoll system, well there is untill....they hit the ground then the ragdoll stops, you can shoot at them but the bullets go right through. It takes away from the immersion of the game. But the nanosuit was fun to use, sneaking up on enemies using cloak was a lot of fun, then grabbing them and throwing them into the water. However, sadly i must say i think i had more fun with the multiplayer beta.

I just finished it, I wish there was a multiplayer like you said uraloser, very cool demo tho, has plenty of stuff to mess around with once you finish it tho. Can't wait for the retail version. Which my specs and on mostly medium with the major things set to high, no AA, had great FPS, ram was never 100% used with vista. Great performance with vista tho.

You know i dont know what i was thinking, i am liking this demo the more i play it, i played the camp site part over and over, i really love it. i guess i had WAY TOO HIGH expectations for it the first time through. its weird because it optimizes well but i can run mostly everything on high. even post processing. it runs perfect. Xerogen i was talking about the multiplayer beta u havnt heard of it?

Yeah i heard of it, but dont have it , whats ur FPS on high settings? i was pulling 10s-20s.
