do i have 2 video cards?

when i look at display adapters in device manager it shows:

-Radeon x300/x550 series
-Radeon x300/x550 series secondary

whats the secondary mean? i dont think i have 2 video cards but im not sure... and also why does t say x300/x550? which one do i have lol.

if you only payed for one video card, you got a good deal. what you have is probably "dual internets" which is a feature of the newest video cards to act as multiple video cards and in some cases may change into that.
you should be playing some games on those badboys.

Anyway, I think the secondary is probably the second DVI (white) or D-SUB (blue) port for your monitor(s) to connect to. Most modern video cards have two ports, either two DVI or a DVI and a D-SUB. Or, it could be a driver issue. You could've installed new drivers while the old ones still existed and it's listing the new/old set as two separate cards.

That is all assuming that you don't actually have two video cards... Where did you get your computer from? What does "dxdiag" say you are using on the Display tab?

no it deals with dvi and the normal one, so that you can set two different monitors, like i do right now hehe
