Re: Crysis | Are you ready?
Yeah I was surprised to say the least. My PC had no chance at all.

Re: Crysis | Are you ready?
So we going to have a crysis server when it comes out for the g3d/r3d guys? I'm kickin' ass and taking names in this game, lol. I swear, I must find the best sniping spots because nobody ever finds me

I love the TAC as well. Nothing like a portable nuclear device to make your day that much sweeter

Re: Crysis | Are you ready?
Wow, someone has connections
.
I have been debating the upgrade to vista and some more ram, but I think my computer will remain as is when we venture into the era of Crysis. I think DX10 wouldn't run any faster anyways... The sad thing is the amount of time I deliberated over upgrading for this game and DX10 and now I see that even if I had upgraded, I wouldn't be able to run it that well anyways.
On the other hand, you did say it's a pre-beta and I am sure it will be running a lot better by the time it goes gold.

Re: Crysis | Are you ready?
i bought an 8800gtx just for the dx10 in this game, everything is great i just wish that i had a etter cpu than this p4, but then again my p4 is 3.6 gigherts. It costs too damn much to get ready for crysis, but i feel dedicated with what ive got already.

Re: Crysis | Are you ready?
Well.. the 1 8800GTX has handled 1920x1080 very well... its only now that these monster games are getting me into trouble. I have had my 8800GTX almost a year now and its been a great card.. but now i would like to sell it and get the next beast... then maybe do a step-up to an ultra model of that.

Re: Crysis | Are you ready?
How bad is the ram needed for the game? I'm sitting at 2 gigs with vista home basic atm.

Re: Crysis | Are you ready?
Going to retry Crysis again tonight as I am not on Vista any more. I think the mix between outdated PC parts and Vista had allot to do with my previous experience of Crysis.
