So I think my lucky stars that I chose to actually use this program and I would HIGHLY suggest others to use it as well.
So last night I took apart my desk because I am moving this weekend. So I had to disconnect from the digital world for only about an hour. During that time...my HDD decided to suddenly lose the BTMGR. PC has no sign of life at this point and I started to panic because I had just transferred a bunch of files and had not backed them up yet.
So on to the miracle. I throw in the Windows 7 disk, attempt a repair. It finds issues, but still did not fix them. Yeah wasn't to happy about that. As I am going through I find a restore option. Because I had done a full back up and continually had it backing up when there was a software change, it was able to completely re-image my drive and there we go, PC back up and running as if nothing ever happen. *phew*
I knew about running the backup/recovery/re-image/restore in other ways, but not through the actual Windows 7 disk. I thank MS for this.
