http://uk.pc.gamespy.com/pc/hellgate.../808735p1.htmlOverall, Hellgate: London felt a lot like a super-refined City of Heroes to me; taking a somewhat action-oriented approach to the MMO genre, but then providing enough customization for the weapons and armor to give the game the depth that I always felt that City of Heroes lacked. There are quite a few different ways to mod equipment, and while most weapons come with slots for customizing fuel, ammo or adding magic effects, there are a number of "crafting" stations where you can boost other facets of your hardware. This was one of my favorite parts of the game, because it enables players that are more familiar with MMOs to dig as deep as they like and get the most out of the game.

Re: HellGate London
The game has an interesting premise but I hope they'll deliver some new contents for the folks that can't do the subscription thing.

Re: HellGate London
With the flood of new games as of recent... i don't think there is any room for this game sadly.

Re: HellGate London
I have the beta and absolutelty love it. The interface is great, and the directx 10 featurees made it very nice on the eyes.
It runs on my rig at 1680 with ultra details, at 30 50 fps. it is a lot of fun in the diablo sense, and a very good looking game that isnt too easy-for the evoker-

Re: HellGate London
The game has that Diablo vibe to it and the interface is similar to Diablo's too, with the health and mana orbs at the bottom. I don't really like the atmosphere but I'm only level 6 and I've gotten up (down) to the Lower Kingsway Sewer. I'll play a bit more. The beta ends on Friday right?

Re: HellGate London
Had it pre-ordered for a while now. It's really fun! I do wish they had more armor/weapon types, but I guess that may change the higher up you go. It seems the evokers/summoners/guardians/blademasters get all the good looking armor while us engineers are stuck looking...well....boring

Re: HellGate London
Fun enough game. Made by the same ppl who made Diablo and Diablo2. Simple hack and slash with pretty graphics. It is not just online, same as the Diablo games, both on and offline gameplay. Demo is out if you wanna try it(DX9 only saldy).
