It tells me that my processor is not supported and data/performance loss may occur. Hit enter to continue...
This message never appeared before the bios update, and now suddenly it stops before the system boots to ask me to hit enter. So I hit enter...and the system seems to get into Windows just fine. I know for a fact that this board supports the Q6600 chip (the one I'm using) so why would it say it's not supported, then boot anyway?
Specs;
Board: Intel DQ965GF
Chip: Q6600 Quad Core

Re: Ok just bios flashed new system and recieve a weird message at bootup.
If you updated, and the BIOS was a recent release, however otherwise things appear to work fine anyway.. I'd wait about a week or two, and see if they release a quick update to this one.
If it bothers you further because of the message, rollback.
Thats been my experience anyway... If things work well otherwise, dont worry about it too much. Yanno. They wouldnt release the update if it hosed up yer stuff immediately. They would have noticed that.
