downloading non-youtube video off the net?

How do you do that? I can't figure it out! Please tell me how to do that? I want to download this:

None of the things I have could possibly download the video from there. Is there a special way I can download it from firefox? IE? Tell me, how, please! Thanks in advance.

There is a program I have have used and is not free, but it works. I don't have the name off hand. I will later on tonight though when I am home.

Isn't there a way to save it off Internet Explorer? Doesn't the flv save somewhere in a folder & you just need to find it?

There are ways in Firefox that I am aware of, but I don't know about IE.

In FF go up to "Tools" and click on "Page Info."

In the new window that pops up you will need to click on the button that says "Media."

Search for the file that ends with FLV and click on it. You should see a button on the right that says Save As.

This works on some sites, but if they code it correctly you won't be able to access the file that way. Hence having to use a program to DL it.

I haven't used the programs you have posted. However, if you go to LiveLeak.com and click on one of there videos you will find a link below the video saying download. If you click on it you will see the program I am talking about. I don't remember the name and I can not get to it from here (damn work proxy) or I would give you a link. I will say it is a fairly simple program that works very well imo.

Thanks, I tried to do as you suggested, nothing worked. That first thing w/ the "page info", it does not have anything ending w/ "flv" or even "swf", only "gif". The liveleak does not have any info for me. I used to be able to do a free thing, & I don't know how to do it anymore! There was a whole how-to section on the net, that is no longer there!

That site doesn't help me. What is a good effective way to do this that is free? There USED to be! What happened? Is there anyone know where the file would automatically be stored to that I can retrieve at least?
