Re: Squished Avatars
Yeah, it's a little inconvenient. It would be better if they weren't resized automatically.

Re: Squished Avatars
Some images can't be resized due to their aspect ratio though. Maybe I haven't seen it in the user control panel, but is there an option to turn off the automatic image resizing?

Re: Squished Avatars
if SM's doesn't have the option, then it would be easy just to hack the code and get rid of height/width being set on the image. You can't force and avatar size, not every avatar is going to be the same aspect ratio.

Sorry. But if you want it to not be squished.....you need to edit it to be 120x120.
The forums automaticly does it if it's over 120x120. I may also be changing the size as in image "KB" size.Q: What do you think about most during the day?

Re: Squished Avatars
I had to replace the Jack Thompson avatar I always use because it just didn't look right when it was all stretched out. The new avatar suits this forum's style better I think. =)

Re: Squished Avatars
You shouldn't be seing scroll bars...it should be automaticly resizing to 120x120.
you may need to clean your cashe in firefox or IE or what ever browser your using and re-open the page.!
EDIT: Correction. If you are running anything below 1024 x 768 it will show the scroll bars!!Q: What do you think about most during the day?

Re: Squished Avatars
Just thought I'd update this and make sure you all know that I changed the width of left column so that there wont be scrollbars anymore no matter what res you're on. Like I said before, we're tryin' to fix all the bugs
Just keep posting them if/when you find 'em.

Re: Squished Avatars
The stretching out of the avatars got to go imo. It makes many of them look terrible. Yes I could make mine in a bigger format, but its a tad bit too much work. And everyone won't be able to do it either.

Re: Squished Avatars
Okay, I'm not sure why it was resizing them because it's only supposed to resize them if it's over 120x120. But I turned it off so if your avatar is larger than 120x120, it'll just get refused. Only thing I can do. It's either refuse 'em or accept the resizing.

Re: Squished Avatars

The one thing I did notice those is that a few people's avatars were already over the limit. But they were up before I changed it so they have scrollbars on their avatars. If you see this, please tell 'em to change their avatar. The real hell is your life gone wrong.
