Yeah if i was that guy, my friend would have to leave the country, lest feel my wrath. If people ask computer hardware questions i give them my oppinion. To lie like that and let him waste that money is beyond harsh.

My buddy Mat was helping our buddy Braden reinstall his WinXP and somehow Braden ended up reformatting his harddrive w/o backup. I had helped him fix it before by just repairing and I guess Mat wasn't paying attention when Braden pressed 'L'. I was like oh shit, you should never ever press 'L' unless u mean it guys.

I've done stoopid things like that, I think we all have. But to saw off part of a video card is a little different imho. It's kinda like buying rims for your car that are too big, then cutting the outside of the rim to fit the tires you want. Or cutting a V8 in half to fit in a 4 cylander car.
