My BFG 650 watt got flaky on me this last week so I picked up a Corsair TX650W to replace it with and WOW! The Corsair seems to weigh in about double the weight of the BFG, always a good sign to start with. My 12v always seemed to sag below 12 volts to around 11.83 average, while now the 12v line shows a solid 12.06, a definate improvement for sure, and most likely due to the single rail design of the Corsair TX650. It's not modular, which is a plus in my book as regardless of whether modular PSU's lose anything at the connector or not doesn't really matter to me, but losing the cables I don't have hooked up does. It's nice not worrying about that anymore. Also, my PC seems a bit quieter, the Corsair is definately a quieter PSU then the BFG was.

I dunno, BFG stuff has just always seemed overrated to me. That and that Fatality fag's "line" of crap.. World's best my ass... I bet there are many better than him, just not able to have gotten to the same competition..

The BFG was a life saver at the time I got it, but apparently it's life expectancy was too short.

Looks pretty good, but wtf is the carry bag for? Where you gonna be touting your power supply around to? lol.
I've got an Enermax Liberty 620Watt PSU: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16817194004The real hell is your life gone wrong.

I wondered about the bag as well. It's not like a PSU is a bottle of whiskey or anything like that. But the bag is pretty cool though.
I'm really liking this power supply though. The only thing I don't like about it is how warm it seems to run. The casing of it is pretty warm to the touch. From all the reviews I've read, that's normal for this PSU. One of the things that impresses me are the PCIe power connectors, both of them are 6+2 connectors, allowing them to be used as 6 pin or 8 pin power as needed. This means I'm ready for any possible combo of power requirements that any single card on the market could ask for. Looking at both the GTX260 and 280, I'm ready for whichever route I choose to go. Even if my old BFG PSU hadn't gotten flaky, I would have had to replace it if I ended up choosing the GTX280 since it only had a pair of 6 pin connectors.Ci7 860/8Gb Patriot Viper/EVGA P55 SLI/EVGA GTX 580 BOE/2x Patriot Torqz 128G/1Tb WD Black

Yeah, that newegg page for my psu is outdated I think. My Liberty psu has the 6+2 pin pci connectors as well.
Looks like they're phasing my psu out though in place of the PRO series I think, that or the Modu ones. The real hell is your life gone wrong.
