ok so wats a Overclocked CPU's, estimated lifesay E6400 at 3ghz?
or if u want to take extream overclocking a E6400 at 3.8ghz (this is for
example)so pretty much overclocked to the max while still stable how long do u
think they'll last before they jst die(years, months, days?)?
so jst generally 2 questions kinda
1. ok so wats a Overclocked CPU's, estimated life for a modirate overclock say a
E6400 at 3ghz
2. and second a Overclocked CPU's, estimated life for a extreame overclock max
until unstable say somewhere between 3.4ghz-3.8ghz(depending on ur cpu)

Re: Overclocked CPU's, estimated life??? say E6400 at 3ghz?
That's really all to hard to estimate. They "say" that an extreme over clock continually will cut the CPU's life span in half. What the actual life span is is hard to tell as well since nothing is perfect in this world. So you CPU most likely has some sort of blimish that could alter the life span or could do absolutely nothing.
What I would do is look into how long the estimate of the CPU is at normal clocking and then take half that time away. That's really all I got. Hope it's what you were looking for.

Voltage is the biggest detriment to the life expectancy of any CPU. If you have adequate cooling and don't push the voltage too far, your CPU should not die any sooner than it would if you ran it at stock settings.
