Issues after restoring my PC

I reformatted my hard drive,now my computer don't see my USB ports,why?, How to fix ?.Using windows xp.

Also, I have had my hard drive cleaned and updated and now all of a sudden its telling me that i dont have any audio hardware!

Is this a home built PC, or a store bought one?

Reason I ask is if it is store bought, you should have a drivers CD that came with the PC.

If not a store bought the name of the manufacture of the motherboard generally found next to the CPU and mem would be of great help. Plus letting us know if you have any kind of after market sound cards like Audigy2ZS.

That's kinda strange not to have USB ports. How old is this PC?
