Best PC Games

Hi guys
i create this thread to share some opinion about games currently on pc. (sorry if this thread has been made before)

anyway i am a big fan of games.every one of them from shooting to piloting.
best game nowadays for me would be:
FPS (Hi Tech) Doom3
FPS (Old School) Call of Duty
RTS (Hi Tech) Command n Conquer
RTS (Old School) Company of Heroes
RPG ....well i think it is safe enough to say all RPG games adept diablo...any thought?
MMORPG World of Warcraft (flying accross the map? visiting castle? anyone want to top that?)
Piloting Flight Sim X (with saitex controller)

how about u guys? any other opinion? other games that are better than those mentioned above? i would like to try them and compare them myself

Well if you are in to not having a life..WoW and EQ2 are great. But those $15 a month subscriptions can add up. Company of heroes are great and the latest patch for it did allot of great well needed updates. Call of Duty is is defenatly old school and has been a while since I last had that installed on my PC. Flight sims are fun every now and then when I want a change. But I am not really into them. Unless it has a good helicopter flight and the controls are not all wanky. Doom3 not to much of an impressive game IMO. To redundant and predictable. Was the leading of video in it's time. But other games are better than it is in quality.

Take for instance FarCry. Great game with great graphics, great online play as well.
CS:S for it's run and gun with a little strat is also fun.
BF2/2142 another great running game that provides you with an objective (rank and unlocks for better weapons)
Many others that are great games but to many to sit here and try and remember them all.

My Favorite games are 2142, BF2, CS:S as of lately.
Past favs were WoW, EQ2, Company Of Heroes

1) GLQuake with the FuhQuake mod still rocks!
2) Serious Sam 1 and Serious Sam TSE are incredible when playing in co-operative mode on-line
3) FarCry rocks with the SM 3.0 patch :boobies:

5) PainKiller :pissed:
6) Half-life 1
7) Unreal :lickit:
8) UT 2003
9) Quake2 :hump:

2 out of 3 is ok i suppose.

:p rouge spear was good, but imo the other 2 games you mentioned far outweight that game in overall greatness.

Except for grand prix i pretty much agree (not a fan of racers), those where all awesome games. Hell there's a lot more i like too.

Hexen is one game i love a lot!

When I say I like these games...I really do. Everytime I reformat my PC, these are the games I install. I play them over and over and over. BioShock is the new game to add to the list. I can see myself playing through that numerous times just like the others.

I would probably add that series to my favorites also. Lost a lot of hours of my life on SimCity 3000 Unlimited.

Deus Ex, EQ2 and PlanetSide are up on my list as well.

Below that we can go Quake(pick one, any one), Halo, Half-Life, STALKER, Myst(I loved Myst and Riven back in the day...more mind than twitch), FFVII(start the flames now).

I could never get into HL2. Not sure why, but just didn't interest me at all.
