Yea so i need a new video card. I'm new here so im not up to date on all the forums and what not. So about a year ago I built a budget gaming machine which costed about $1500 including the monitor. At the time i wasn't all that knowledgeable about graphic cards and i decided to get an ATI All-in-Wonder X600 pro. I got it because the place where i bought it said that it was also an ok video editing card along with a few other nice things. Well the picture isn't all that bad but I'm really looking to upgrade to a full gaming graphics card and i need help on deciding. My budget is about $100-$200 and possibly up to $250 if it will last me a while. Can somebody get me hooked up w/ some info on an ideal card?

The EVGA 7900 GS KO would be a great model for that rang. I would definitely say it will last you a while.

Tigardirect is the cheapest place. It's a little over $250 at newegg. That would be my choice of card.
Is this going to be an AGP or PCIE? I noticed you didn't say and that will make a big difference.
Q: What do you think about most during the day?
A: Women. They are a complete mystery.

Spend $200 and get yourself a 256MB X1900 XT from the Egg. Beats the snot out of the X1950 Pro (even the highest o/c'd 512MB versions). http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16814142085
