Speaking with Reuters, Mozilla Corp Vice President of Engineering Mike Schroepfer revealed that Firefox 3 has finally "ready for the masses to use".
Until now, Mozilla has released several alpha and beta versions of the popular browser, but discouraged "average internet users" from using them.
"In many ways it (Firefox 3) is much more stable than anything else out there," said Mike Schroepfer.
Firefox 3 is more secure than Firefox 2. It also is more standard-complaint and uses less memory. Mozilla intends to release Firefox 3 officially by the end of June.
The remaining time will be spent "tuning the visual look and feel of the program" and further improving its stability."

Beta 5 is definitely faster than Beta 4 for me. Feels like it's not too far off from a final release. Now if only extension developers would make their stuff compatible with it... ¬_¬

I can't wait personally. I am about to switch over to IE at work if it doesn't stop freezing up on me.
More than 6 tabs on my system at work make it freeze.
