Last night? Wasnt able to connect last night, so I just sat down for movies..
Still cant connect this morning.. wtf?

Yeah, it seems like it's pretty down. I did a trace route with Ping Plotter and it's not even getting to the Rage3D server and I'm getting 100% packet loss. The last hop is stopping at 209.147.12.50 dr02-v109.tac.opticfusion.net (which is almost Rage3D's IP address, so it might be a parent server which is fubar'd as it is not responding to ping requests).
Something is definitely up and I haven't heard anything.

Yep, def. down. Sucks too, I wanted to see those preview pics of the R600 chip (not like I can afford anything...though an 8800 does sound mighty nice).
