The model I am looking more into is this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Produc...82E16855117001
Also comes with 1 or 4GB mem. Does anyone know anything about those? Sound quality and the like? I am way more tempted to go for one of those rather then the nano (this is for one of my brothers birthday btw) most because of the better battery life. Also the difference in since compared to the nano is imo pretty small. What I wonder most is how the sound quality is, and if it's using a simple drag and drop standard to transfer mp3's to it, or if you have to use some program for doing that?

Re: Anyone who has any experience of Samsung MP3 players?
Hmmm.....$175 for only 2GB?
I have only one MP3 player. and it only has 512MB storage. It holds about 45 minutes to an hour of music. If only the samsung had 1 more gig. I could store my entire collection on it. At least that's the ones I have on my computer. Not counting the couple hundred ACTUALY bought CD's that are not on my PC.
I would sya it looks like a good purchase to me. Samsung is a good company. Never no till you actualy try it out!Q: What do you think about most during the day?

only 45 minutes on a 1gb player? i find that hard to belive, do you not compress your songs? a 700mb cd can hold 80 minutes...
