I have yet to see a DLP that I really like the picture quality of. I don't know, for some reason I just don't like them at all. It's possible that we don't have the same models over here though.

Motherfker....ok, so I finally get the 2 HD Dual Tuner DVR's from the cable company today, hook them up, and....picture looks like shit. At our old house the picture was absolutely beautiful with the HD box, but not at this house. So I call Time Warner and they figure we're getting a bad signal and something is wrong with our splitter. Now I have to wait another week before they get out here and fix it. We moved in 2 weeks ago, have 2 beautiful 50" 1080p televisions, and can't watch anything HD on them!!!!!!!!!!! Well, one has an xbox360 on it, but I still want my DiscoveryHD!!!!

We hardly have HD in Sweden yet, just loads of HDTV's, but no HD airing

Some people says that the difference is that big, but hell, my dad went to some store the other day where they had HD signals going to their TV's, and he was amazed. And I mean, sure, I have a dad that likes home elextronics, but he's more into audio then visuals. When even he notices that big of a difference, I can't understand why there isn't more demand for it over here.

? If you're looking at a digital picture, it probably has nothing to do with the splitter, unless you get blocky distortion and drop-outs/freezes. If your picture quality is bad, I'd look at what rez the cable box is pumping out (Motorola? Turn power off and hit "menu") and look for something wrong with the settings on the TV.

Just realized this thread was old...waitaminnit, they're all old...
