shouldn't this place be called TNT3D? I mean, to stay consistent?

Actuallly, it would be Riva 3D, since the Riva was NV's first line of consumer video cards. I used to have a Riva 128 ZX 8MB AGP card, 2nd gen Riva product - it was my first real video card.
My rig: Dell (meh) P4 530, 2.5GB RAM, HIS X1650 XT iSilenceII 256MB

We thought about it, but concider this. Rage3D was made when the Rage cards were arround right? So GeForce3D is the same concept.
The real hell is your life gone wrong.

Actually, the first consumer product from Nvidia would be Edge3D. Not sure how long you guys have been in the game, but I flirted with buying one. You could plug in Sega Saturn controllers into it. It did quadratic surfaces, instead of the D3D polygon standard. Leaving the card to not be of much use. It also had sound onboard.
Really cool product. I was more intrigued with the Matrox Mystique that came out around a similar timeframe. Then of course came the Voodoo1 and I forgot about all that stuff (everything before was honestly pretty much junk). So I bought one of those for $300 and it just owned for a long time.
I even used that Voodoo1 with Quake3Arena. I had to run it at 512x480 (or whatever it is), and couldnt have to many bots on the map, but it worked. Far, far better than any other card would from the Voodoo's day! In fact, I dont think anything else from the V1 competition will even run Q3A.
Then I discovered Nvidia after 3dfx died. :( RIP.
Been just as happy with Nvidia as I was with 3dfx. Very bad experiences with ATI though. Did try them first though, everyone said they had "awesome image quality". I still give them a test run every 3 years or so still. Nothing has really changed though with those guys, for the most part.
Basically lost interest forever in ATI now since they keep delivering products that just work OOTB everytime for me, and with SLI and everything else they offer I'd say ATI is down for the count as far as Rampage ever buying one of their cards again.Intel Core2Quad 9450 @ 3ghz / Gigabyte EX38-DS4 / 8GB Mushkin 996580 (4-4-4-12) / 8800GT / AC Freezer 7 Pro / Corsair 520HX / Antec 900<br />SteelSeries QcK+ / Logitech G3 + Access 600 KB / Dell 24" + Dell 20.1" LCDs
