Looks like an excellent build. I would recommend you hold off until July 24th however and go AM2 instead of S939. You'll save quite a bit of money and have a better upgrade path. No lose situation there. I'd suggest a different case though, and PSU for SLI/Crossfire.

I duno if your talking about the a8n32 sli deluxe. But that one is defenatly a good choice.

And hard drives > Go with a 250 gig WD SATA2 16mb cache drve (or a couple to creat raid) These drives out perform my 36 gig 10k rpm raptor by a long ways. I have one of the 250 SATA2 drives and did a test on both with clean instals. Personaly amazed at the benches I got.

But other that that.....looks like you have a good system build there!

I didn't happen to think of that. And yeah. That would be a great idea.

I hope AMD gets back to me....suposed to hear from them about doing reviews of there product. Would love to get ahold of an AM2 to play with and review.

There's *no* better drive on the market for the money than Seagate's 7200.10 perpendicular HD line. A friend of a friend whose computer I just troubleshooted (troubleshot?) just bought this drive for $100 on Newegg, and a friend of mine runs a 2 drive array getting within 5% of the throughput of my 4 drive WD 320GB stripe.

Seagates aren't bad. I did have some issues with them in the past. I do however have 2 HD's that are my 4year old seagates that this server is running off of!!

Soon to have a better rig update done so I can push out the datta better. I think it's one of the main bottle necks for my server!

It's not a bad PSU, I just recommended one to a friend of a friend to repair/ugprade his PC, but I know he'll never put too strenuous a load on it. For a little more money I'd pick up the Silverstone Zeus 750W and know I'm set for quite some time. I'll be adding one to my rig soon.

Okay, I had to sign up over here just to comment on that one. The ONLY reason he agreed with you, Shaidar, is because you wern't talking AMD/ATI/Nvidia/Intel/Microsoft/Linux. Power supplies are sufficiently neutral for you two to find a middle ground.
