List your favorite console game for this generation, and by that I mean for Xbox, Xbox360, PS2, Game Cube.
I'll start, my favorite Game Cube game remains Godzilla: Destroy All Monsters Melee. It was the reason I rejoined console gaming for the first time since Sega Genesis, and its the reason I purchased a Game Cube over PS2 and Xbox at the time. The game never gets old for me.![]()

Re: Your favorite console game {this generation}
For me it's a toss-up between God of War and the Tokyo Extreme Racer series (Zero and 3). All of which are PS2 games. No Gamecube or XBox for me.
My rig: Dell (meh) P4 530, 2.5GB RAM, HIS X1650 XT iSilenceII 256MB

Re: Your favorite console game {this generation}
I gotta say xbox. Its the ONLY console to play multiplayer splitscreen fps titles on. Between the halos, farcrys, unreal championship 2, etc. Not to mention that its the best console to play splinter cell on, and its got project gotham, panzer dragoon, and dead or alive. Add in xbox live, and its clear that xbox is the BEST multiplayer console availabe.
I loved the n64 for mulitplayer, but the gamecube has been pretty dissapointing for me. I mean, all its got is smash bros and mario kart (which are both amazing). But lets face it: N64 was the true multiplayer fps console, and that's been passed on to xbox.
As for playstation, well, the ps2 is the only console released since the late 90s to only have 2 controller ports. That pretty much kills the multiplayer possibilities. Not to mention that ps2's last best hope for a halo killer was killzone.
Well, I know I'm really one sided on this, ignoring all the great rpg games for ps2 and the platformers for gamecube, and I know that for people who really like those kinds of games, their favorite system will be different. But I'm gonna go wherever the great multiplayer fps games go, and the xbox has enough other stuff for me to dabble as well.

Re: Your favorite console game {this generation}
I'm laid up with a nuked knee, surgery pending, so I'm doin' some heavy console gaming from the bed. Just finished Halo2 and really liked it. The level design isn't quite as redundant as the first, and I like where the story line is going for the conclusion to the trilogy. The demo of "the Outfit" for 360 is a good time too. My bro kicks my butt hard on that one though.
What you say?

Re: Your favorite console game {this generation}
Ooooh damn bad knee with surgery pending. Went through that before. Back in 8th grade I had a major hyper extension on my left knee....if any of you don't know what that is. It's where the back of my knee was touching the ground while I was still standing. Yes....very very painfull. One of the worst pains I had ever felt in my life and frankly I care not to ever feel it again. I didn't have a surgery till years after when I started to have trouble like locking up and dislocating while I was walking. I had complete reconstructive surgery and arthroscopic surgery in one sitting. I was so drugged up for an entire month after surgery I don't remember if I even had pain. hehehehe

P.S. Good luck on the surgery. I hope it goes as good as mine did. Knee still feels like new to this day. Been 6 years since the surgery.Q: What do you think about most during the day?

Thanks Uber Tiny
Doc says the Ortho will just arthroscope it to either repair or remove the torn meniscus. I can post a pic of the leg the day they sutured it after the mountain bike crash if you guys like that kind of gnarly stuff

Re: Your favorite console game {this generation}
I'm going to have to go with Guitar Hero 2. It's addictive, it's fun, it's a great group game, and there is a sense of accomplishment everytime you perfect a song, regardless of the diffucultly level. I suspect doing so on Extreme would be much grander than on Easy, but right now I'll take what I can get.
