I'm trying to get a feeling of what people here think of having images in sigs. Now I have heard lots of negative from others on image sigs. But I would like to get the feel of how the people here would like it.

Reason I ask this is some people have a hard time loading pages that are chalk full of images in sigs. This causes headaches for the ones that are on slow or older setups.

My personal pref is to keep them, but limit them to small images as to not overwhelm others.

My idea of small is a 486x60 like the image below and no larger than 75KB in size.

Real main reasons of this is to keep the load times to a minimum making it more reliable and easier for people to surf the site.

Please give me some feedback on this.
